SMART4Life is a project of AccessMatters LGBT Health Initiatives. The purpose of this initiative is to harness the power of social media to influence the social norms of men who have sex with men in Philadelphia and re-frame “safer sex” within the broader context of sexual health. In addition to engaging young MSM in conversations and sharing of key messages through social media, SMART4Life links men to FREE HIV and STD testing services, community based health promotion services, and primary care, behavioral health, and social services.
SMART4Life has a Community Advisory Board, comprised of members of our community and representatives from other community partner organizations in the Philadelphia area that serve young men who have sex with men.
Participating community partner organizations include: ActionAIDS, Attic Youth Center, BEBASHI, CHOP Adolescent Clinic/ Connect2Protect, Dorothy Mann Center of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Haven Youth Center, Mazzoni Center, Philadelphia FIGHT/ Youth Health Empowerment Project (YHEP).
